Rice a Roni has a variety of flavored instant rice. I chopped up some asparagus in one inch pieces and then I fried chopped up mushrooms. Putting these aside.
Follow the instructions on the box. Once it comes to a boil, put in the asparagus and cover to simmer for 15 or 20 minutes until rice is tender. Turn off heat, stir in the cooked mushrooms and let stand for 5 minutes.
